Frugal Fannie's, a women's clothing shop in Westwood, Ma., has back to back television ads every night on the 6:00 pm news on WCVB Channel 5.
Tonight, May 29, at 6:27 pm, Frugal Fannie's had an ad on about dresses. Two minutes later at 6:29 pm the commerical was about swimsuits.
There is one or two ads between the commericals. It is so repetitive it is annoying.
What are the benefits of having repetitive ads in a short time span? The message certainly gets out but is this an effective way to market a product? The double ads gets consumers talking about the business. What is your take on double commericals?
